Explore the Rockwell mountain bike Trails System
Over 16 miles of world-class singletrack, professionally designed and free for all riders to enjoy.

Our Trail Vision
Rockwell’s mountain bike trail system is currently under construction — but we’re already making progress. Our vision includes multiple routes for beginners, intermediate riders, and seasoned trail enthusiasts, all built inside the historic limestone quarry. Features include bridges, waterfalls, and reclaimed relics from the site’s industrial past.
Once construction is complete, the Mankato Area Mountain Bikers (MAMB) will steward, maintain, and help expand the trail system — ensuring it remains a vibrant, sustainable, and free public resource for years to come.

Why Trails Matter
These trails will serve as a free, year-round resource for residents, tourists, and youth organizations — promoting wellness, activity, and community connection through outdoor adventure.
Pilot Trail Assembled
A short demonstration section of trail (1,000 feet) has been created to showcase the style of trail planned for Rockwell Mountain Bike Trails — including bridge loops and the Waterfall Block.
This is not yet an approved development and is awaiting review.

Envisioning the Future

Conceptual Ideas for Trail Growth
As we look to the future, our goal is to create a trail system that continues to grow with the community. Adding new loops, exciting features, and expanding access for all skill levels. These ideas represent the kind of immersive, sustainable, and dynamic experience we hope to bring to life at Rockwell.
